I woke 4 AM, sans alarm, excited to make my first trip home to Indiana in several years. We’re trekking from Weyers Cave, Virginia to Zionsville, Indiana, for the Saturday nuptials of Carrie and Anand, my sister and her fiancé. It’s a long trip, about 10 hours without stops, and with three adults and three children, you know that’s not going to happen. I’m sitting in the back seat with my oldest daughter, Hannah. I’ve never ridden in the back seat of the van. Hannah has warned me that you feel every bump and turn. She’s not kidding. I haven’t been carsick in thirty years, which probably corresponds to the last time I rode in the back seat of a van. Probably won’t be many blog posts today . . .
Have a great day!
